In the old days of the internet, every website worth its salt had a list of links.  In the days of Google and Wikipedia it's not so important.

But hey, I thought I'd add a few.. I'd better keep them relevant!

DG Music what's on listing. Mostly within 30 minutes or so drive of Rutland.

Ents24 - UK-wide listings site. I was thinking of making a listings page/site for local events. But I think there's too much competition- and Ents24 isn't far off what I had in mind. Type in 'Oakham', say, and you can get a list of local events, or Venues.. where people have put them on the system, anyway.

Internet radio. Much though I love BBC Radio 4, I'm a fan of internet radio. There are hundreds, thousands even, or radio stations out there, catering for every possible taste. You can listen to them on your computer, and you can buy separate internet radios for around the house as well. Just google for what you like.
